Winter Garden

This year we decided to try our hand at winter gardening. We planted Swiss Chard, here protected by the baby dinosaur, as well as Red Cabbage, Brussel Sprouts, Broccoli, Flat Dutch Cabbage, Onions, Radishes and Sugar Snap Peas.
This morning when I opened the garden door the sun fell on the raised beds, illuminating our baby veggies. I love the way the leaves have necklaces of dew pearls hanging on their edges.
It'll be fun seeing how well we do with our crop. Oh nearly forgot, we also put out white Cauliflower and several plants of orange Cauliflower.

  2. Indeed, yummy stuff. Looking forward to it. And with the prices of organic, better we grow at least some of our own. So keep your fingers crossed for us. :)
