Autumn Colors

I think what I love most about this time of year are the wonderful colors. Not only the stunning sunrises, but the every changing color of our many trees. Each and every one of them a wonder to behold as they slowly change before losing their leaves for the winter. Early in the day is the best time it seems. The colors just glow. Here's a wonderful sunrise and some of the great colors it revealed throughout the garden.

  1. Beautiful photographs, Evi... stunning sunrise. You get deeper leaf colors than we do here on the coast... love the reds!

  2. Glad you enjoyed it. That particular tree, a Chinese Tallow Tree, is one I purchased after seeing it in full color at a nursery. It never disappoints. And yes, we're up in the foothills, at nearly 1000 ft. elevation, so we get just the right temps for amazing color.
