giving way to our quiet lives

are all that remains, showing they were here

the memories of daytrips will linger pleasantly

and hopefully we will meet again another day

embraces the scent of Jasmine

we breathe deeply

Delighted to find a fuzzy bumble bee

resting in the heart of a Jasmine flower

camera at hand ready to capture the moment

surprised she was so still deep in thought it seemed

zooming in the cause was quickly revealed.

At the heart of the flower death was lurking

in the form of a dainty, delicate crab spider

she waited patiently for her company to arrive

not as an honored guest at her table

instead the main course eagerly drained.
